Memory Lane

Lots of our recent guests have been enjoying a visit to Barrington Court NT so I popped over the hill this afternoon to take a look for myself. And yes it is looking lovely! In a previous life (19 years ago!), when I aspired to be a Gardener I spent 3 very happy years working part-time in these gardens and so when I bumped into one of the gardeners this afternoon it brought back very fond memories of spending a lot of time leaning on hoes chatting, drinking a lot of tea, having outrageously extended tea breaks and pottering about for hours in the greenhouses!
